Allendale, NJ— 7/10/2020 — Today, Government and Public Safety UAS program expert Brian Leventhal joins ULTRA as a senior advisor to the Board.
Brian Leventhal has spent the past 20 years in public service as a law enforcement officer in North Carolina. For the last 14 years, Brian has served as a State Trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
In 2013, Brian transferred to the Highway Patrol’s Crash Reconstruction Unit. While on this assignment, Brian received his Part 107 Remote Pilot license and helped to create the UAS program for the Highway Patrol with the focus of using unmanned aerial vehicles to map crash scenes, and provide disaster response.
“Brian’s expertise in the development and implementation of UAS programs brings another immediately relevant knowledge set to ULTRA’s group of diverse and talented contributors. There is no shortage of crises in the world today, and Brian’s work in disaster response will be invaluable.” said Raymond Adams, Executive Director at the Urban Low Altitude Transport Association.

Founded in 2020, the Urban Low Altitude Transport Association is a New Jersey based nonprofit corporation supporting Urban Air Mobility in metropolitan areas.
